On Saturday, September 16, 2023, "Yokodai District General disaster drill" was held at Yokodai Hiroba Park.
Starting with water discharge training by fire brigade, this training was a practical experience to experience the situation during a disaster, including smoke experience, seismic vehicle experience, water fire extinguisher experience, emergency rescue training, water supply experience and wireless experience.
More than 350 people participated, including the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations in the Yokodai district, the Yokodai-Daini Junior High School Volunteer Department, the Amateur Radio Emergency Communications Cooperation Association, the Fire Department, the fire brigade, police department, the water supply office and the ward office.
Many of the participants were households with small children, and the venue was full of children's smiles.
