Rest places operated by the local community, “Old Tokaido Hodogaya-juku resting place” and “Mailbanbansho”

In cooperation with the Neighborhood Association of Hodogayacho, Hodogayacho community hall Branch, located along National Route 1.
"Old Tokaido Hodogaya-juku resting place" is open every Sunday (*).

This resting place is located between the ruins of Hodogaya Honjin and the restored row of pine trees, and there are many attractions related to the old Tokaido Hodogaya-juku. To visitors, we distribute town walk maps that introduce the highlights in the city.
In addition to seeing books and panels related to the old Tokaido, you can also wear travel costumes (Midogasa, Dochu Kappa, and sorting luggage) and play with Sugoroku.
