In order to acquire knowledge about traffic safety and to act as leaders in traffic safety education activities in each district, as a business of Yokohama City, a traffic safety silver leader training workshop was held as a business of Yokohama City for members of the aged club. doing.
Traffic Safety Classes
In cooperation with the police department, we will hold traffic safety classes for the elderly as needed by local senior citizen clubs and Neighborhood Association.
The Kanagawa Prefectural Police and the Prefectural Aerobics Federation jointly developed aerobic to prevent traffic accidents for elderly pedestrians. This aerobic named "Travic" is a fun way to maintain physical functions and improve physical fitness necessary for accident prevention. Because it is possible to learn about traffic safety while moving the body according to physical strength and physical condition, we will promote the spread of this program to Neighborhood Association and senior citizens' associations.
