The application targets are licensed nursery schools, certified children's schools (use of childcare), small-scale childcare, home-based childcare, and in-house childcare (regional frame).
Admission is for admission from May 2024 to March 2025.

• Applications at the Hodogaya Ward Office are for residents of Hodogaya. (If you live outside Hodogaya Ward, please apply at the ward office or local government of your ward.)
• Please bring your child to the facility you wish to use and visit.
• If you wish to continue admission after April of the new year, you will need to apply separately.
• If the application for relocation is completed, the current garden will be closed even if you decline the job offer. If you no longer wish to relocate, be sure to withdraw your application.
• The application for use is valid until March 2025 unless the use is decided. If you do not wish to use a nursery school, please be sure to withdraw your application.
• Immediately before the deadline, applications are concentrated, and it takes time to review the documents and contact the missing documents, so please submit them as soon as possible.

• Currently, if you live outside Yokohama City and wish to use a licensed nursery school in Yokohama City, you will need to apply through your local government in principle.

• If you are currently living in Hodogaya Ward and wish to use a nursery school outside Yokohama, you must apply through the Hodogaya Ward Office in principle.
• Please be sure to check with your local government in advance the application deadline and required documents, and submit all required documents to Hodogaya Ward Office Children and Families Support Division at least one week prior to the deadline.
• If the documents are incomplete, we may not be able to accept your application. Please check carefully before applying.

• When applying for childcare leave benefits, etc., you may need "documents proving that you could not enter a nursery school".
• In Yokohama-shi, we apply for the use of nursery schools and issue "reservation letter of advice" to person who was put on hold. The "Reservation Notice" will be issued only at the time of the first use adjustment after receiving the application and when the desired garden is added.
• If you have received the "Pending Notice" and need proof that you are still on hold ("Pending Certificate"), bring your identity verification documents and submit the "Pending Certificate Grant Application Form" to the ward office Children and Families Support Division.
• In addition, about procedure of childcare leave payment, we cannot guide in ward office. Please contact your employer or Hello Work.

• Please submit "use application withdrawal form and use application contents change registration form" to ward office immediately.
• The deadline for submission is the same as the deadline for application.
