Based on the purpose of the revised Quality Assurance Law, Yokohama City is implementing construction to promote two days a week at construction sites in order to foster and secure leaders in the construction industry and improve the working environment.
※Reference: For civil engineering work for port-related work, the “City of Yokohama, Port and Harbor Bureau Civil Engineering Work Two-day Securing Work (Designation of Contractor)” will be applied.

[July 2024] Construction work two days a week
For construction using the civil engineering estimation standard, the annual version of the design document is applied from the construction based on July 1, 2024. Other than that, the application for contracts to be made on or after October 1, 2024 (public notice, nomination notice, and estimation) Applicable from construction contracts for which contracts have been concluded.
