Organization of Office of Accounting

Office of Accounting is composed of two sections, the Accounting Administration Division and the Examination Division.
Specifically, we examine expenditure-related documents, operate a common goods system, pay and store cash on a daily basis, manage funds, prepare financial statements, and manage the financial accounting system.

Accounting Manager

General Manager of Accounting Office (also serving as accounting manager)

Accounting Management Division

It manages cash and cash belonging to the fund, manages cash records, prepares general accounts and special accounts, and operates a common goods system. In addition, we play role of Motoichi window with designated financial institution.

Administration Section

  1. Designated financial institutions, designated agency financial institutions, and storage agency financial institutions (meaning postal savings banks prescribed in Article 94 of the Postal Service Privatization Act (Act No. 97 of 2005). The same applies below. ))
  2. Matters related to postal savings banks
  3. Matters related to communication and coordination of accounting affairs
  4. Matters related to the improvement of accounting affairs
  5. Management of Offices
  6. General affairs of the room
  7. Do not belong to the supervision of other sections or sections.

Cashier

  1. Matters related to the accounting and storage of year-end cash and non-revenue cash
  2. Matters related to the accounting and storage of cash belonging to the fund
  3. Matters related to the issuance of a check
  4. Matters related to cash record management
  5. Adjustment of payment funds, etc.
  6. Matters related to accounting and storage of securities
  7. Matters related to the arrangement and storage of certificates

Accounting Section

  1. Matters related to the preparation of revenue and expenditure settlement of accounts
  2. Recording and organizing revenue books and expenditure books, as well as daily income tables and daily expenditure tables
  3. Matters related to the receipt and payment and storage of goods
  4. Matters related to the accounting and storage of occupied personal property
  5. Matters related to the record management of property
  6. Matters related to the exchange of income certificate stamp
  7. Matters related to adjustment notices, etc.

Examination Division

We conduct examinations to determine whether the expenditure-related documents of each bureau conform to accounting rules and other related laws and regulations, and strive to optimize accounting operations while providing appropriate advice to accounting staff. In addition, we manage and operate financial accounting systems.
