Flow of procedures for the Law Concerning the Promotion of Expansion of Public Land (Public Expansion Law)

Notifications and proposals based on the Act on Promotion of Expansion of Public Land (Public Expansion Law)

Notice

The public expansion law window has been relocated to the 12th floor of the City Hall.
Please complete the entrance procedure at the city hall reception on the 3rd floor, and come to the 12th floor by elevator.
When you get off the elevator, please follow the blue guidance and come to the window of the Finance Bureau Facility Management Promotion Section.
Reception using the electronic application and notification system (outside site) has started on February 19, 2024.
For more information, please refer to the following "Procedures".

We accept submission by electronic application, report system (outside site), mail or at window of Finance Bureau Facility Management Promotion Section on the 12th floor of Yokohama City Hall City Hall.
Prior to submission, we confirm the contents by e-mail (za-koukaku@city.yokohama.jp) and the submitted documents are checked in advance. For details on the submission documents, etc., please refer to the submission documents for notification and application.

Reception method

◆About reception by electronic application, notification system
◇Concept of reception date
Reception by electronic application is not the date on which the applicant made the application, but the date on which the appropriate notification is received.
Upon receipt, you will be notified of "Procedure Completion" to the registered e-mail address.
◇When the contents of the electronic application are incomplete
If there is any defect in the content of the application, it will be "returned", so please correct the application.
◇About copy (duplicate) of notification (application) form
For electronic applications, we will not issue a copy (duplicate) of the notification (application) form with the acceptance seal.
Please use the automatic notification of "Procedure Completion". If you would like a copy (duplicate), please apply at the counter or by mail.
※The applicant can check the processing status of the procedure on "My Page".

◆About mail reception desk
If we confirm that there are no defects in the prior confirmation, we will tell you so.

In that case, please enclose a letter pack for reply.
Please note that the application will be accepted when you arrive at this section.

◆About window reception desk
Closed: national holidays, other holidays, and New Year's holidays December 29th-January 3rd, Monday to Friday 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (except noon to 1:00 p.m.)
When visiting the Agency, please make a telephone reservation in advance.

Confirm the presence or absence of a group that wishes to purchase

About land which received report, proposal, we examine whether local public entities perform purchase consultation.

Notification of results

Within three weeks from the date of the notification / application, we will notify you of the result of deciding the purchase consultation group or the result of the decision not to buy it.

◆In the case of reception at the counter
You will receive it at the Public Expansion Law Office of the Finance Bureau Facility Management Promotion Section.
As soon as you receive the notification, please bring a copy of the registration form (application form) and come to the counter.
In addition, even if you submit it to the counter, you will be notified by mail if you bring an envelope for sending (a letter pack, specific records, etc.), you will be notified by mail.

◆In the case of reception using the electronic application / notification system
If you receive the application by the electronic application / notification system, please bring the following confirmation documents and come to the counter.
<Confirmation documents>
A copy of the application number (those with the application number, such as printing the My Page “Application Content Inquiry Screen” of the electronic application / notification system)
Copy of registration form
Power of Attorney (only when a notification (application) is delegated)
In addition, even if the application is accepted by the electronic application / notification system, it is possible to issue a notice by mail, but if you wish, one copy of a return envelope (a letter pack, specific record, etc.) Please enclose the documents and send it to the Public Expansion Law Section within one week from the receipt of the notification / application (completion completion). The confirmation documents will be returned along with the notice.

◆In the case of reception by mail
In the case of window delivery, please bring a copy of the registration form (application form) and come to the counter as soon as you receive a notice.
If you wish to receive it by mail, apply for one copy of the return envelope (a letter pack, specific records, etc.), and one copy (two copies in total) for sending duplicate copies of registration form etc. Please enclose at the time.
However, if the sending of the duplicate is acceptable at the same time as the delivery of the notice, only one copy of the return envelope may be used.
