What is the Public Expansion Act?

Local governments, etc., have been institutionalized to make it easier for them to acquire the land necessary for the maintenance of public facilities, under the Act on Promotion of Expansion of Public Land (hereinafter referred to as the Public Expansion Act) It is a pre-purchase system.
This system includes a notification under Article 4 of the Public Expansion Act and an application under Article 5 of the Public Expansion Act.

[Notification under Article 4 of the Public Expansion Act] The Public Expansion Act is a prior notification.

When trying to transfer land in Yokohama City that meets certain requirements (please check for land that requires notification of the Public Expansion Act) for a fee, the landowner must notify the The Mayor of Yokohama in advance.
