1 What is a general competitive bidding?
A


General competitive bidding is a bidding system in which anyone, regardless of individuals or corporations, can participate.
A bid will be made by the person who applied in advance, and those who have presented the highest price at least the minimum sale price and present the highest price will be the "successful bidder" and conclude a sales contract.
To bid, it is necessary to pay a bid deposit of 5/100 or more of the bid price (not the minimum sale price) by the bidding date. (The bid deposit will be returned if a successful bid cannot be made.)
No special procedures are required other than the above application and bid deposit. In fact, many individuals have participated in this program.

2 Please tell me about the bid deposit?

We hand payment notice of bid deposit to person who applied for bid.
Please fill in this payment slip with an amount of 5/100 or more of your bid price (not the minimum sale price) and pay by the bidding date.
You have you show payment notice (receipt) paid on the day of the bidding, and only those who have confirmed the payment can participate in the bidding.
The bid deposit will be returned to those who were unable to make a successful bid. Please note that it will take about two months after bidding.

3 Can I apply for more than one property?

It is possible to apply for multiple properties. However, in order to participate in the bidding, you will need an application form and a bid deposit.

4 Is it possible to apply under the joint name?
A


It is possible to apply under the joint name. In that case, all holders must fill in required items and submit required documents at the time of application. Please note that the applicant will be a contractor and cannot be changed after application.

The application status has not been disclosed.

6 What happens if I apply and do not participate in the bidding?
A


There is no penalty even if you do not participate in the bidding after applying (after paying the bid deposit).
However, if you do not make a contract even though you participated in the bidding (with a bid participation qualification) and make a successful bid, the right as the successful bidder will be lost and the bid deposit will belong to Yokohama City. In addition, for two years from the date of decline of the contract, eligibility for participation in general competitive bidding will be suspended.
