Targets

About land, building which we hold in Motoichi, we work on appropriate after-use abolition facility under appropriate management and, about assets that we think that utilization is possible, secure financial resources including public public interest use The sale is being actively promoted.

Current status and issues

For assets that we continue to grasp the current status of our assets and think that it can be used, we will actively promote public interest use and sales that will lead to community development and resolution of local issues while utilizing the know-how of private businesses. It is necessary to continue to advance. In addition, it is required to further disclose asset information such as fixed asset ledgers that have been maintained so far.

Direction of Initiatives

Promotion of utilization of assets (jurisdiction: Finance Bureau, each bureau, ward)

In addition to working on the appropriate use of facilities that are abolished, etc., for assets that are considered to be usable, sales for public interest use and securing financial resources, especially while paying attention to cooperation with the ward office, which is a local window.・ We work on loan etc. In addition, we will continue our efforts to verify the effectiveness of public offerings, etc. aimed at solving regional issues. In addition, we will publish asset information such as fixed asset ledgers so that they can be used as tools for utilization.

Direction of future initiatives based on actual results

■Results to date
Regarding assets that are considered to be usable, we will promote initiatives such as selling and lending to secure public interest use and financial resources, and the area of assets that have been decided to be used will be 13.5 ha in a cumulative total of four years. The result exceeded the target value. In fiscal 2020, we revised the “Guidelines for Utilization and Disposal of Facilities with Decommissioned Use” and are considering the use of closed school facilities.
In addition, we made a list of land information such as location and area of land on the city website (Finance Bureau City Land Portal Site) and systematically published it in a searchable format to enhance the content.

■Direction of Future Initiatives
Regarding the land we own, the use of highly marketable land has been promoted through our efforts so far, but it has been unused due to changes or cancellation of businesses, changes in socio-economic conditions, etc. Land that has been provisionally used is left mainly in the suburbs. In order to maximize the value of these unused land, under the policy of the whole agency, the Asset Jurisdiction Bureau will formulate a plan for optimization, and work closely with the ward office and related bureaus. We will work on strategic utilization as an important resource with various possibilities, such as the possibility of solving regional issues and contributing to financial resources, through further opening of asset information and various public-private partnerships.
