Overview of Land Compensation
Last Updated August 16, 2023
Introduction
Thank you very much for your cooperation in promoting the municipal administration of Yokohama on a daily basis.
Yokohama has developed dramatically with the opening of the port, and today it has grown into Japan's second largest city with a population of 3.7 million.
However, as we enter the 21st century, we are facing a major turning point in society, with the progress of a declining birthrate and aging society, the declining population, and the globalization of socio-economics.
Therefore, in June 2006, Yokohama City formulated a new “Yokohama City Basic Plan (Long-Term Vision)” with a view to the next 20 years (until around 2025), and is currently shown in this basic plan We are implementing the “Yokohama City Medium-Term Four-Year Plan” to embody the city that creates the new “Yokohama-likeness”.
In this plan, various business plans are planned, but in order to promote these businesses, it is necessary to transfer the business site from citizens.
As Motoichi will do our best to realize the business, I would like understanding and cooperation of all of you.
