Overview
The lower part of the city hall (1st to 3rd floors) is a bright and open space with high ceilings and natural light. We also provide a public wireless LAN connection service, which can be used not only on weekdays but also on weekends and holidays.
Laxis Front, a commercial facility on the 1st and 2nd floors, has a food hall, cafe, and restaurant, and is packed with Yokohama's charms such as stores originating in Yokohama, menus on the theme of local production for local consumption, and souvenirs from Yokohama. You can also enjoy meals on the open terrace seats along the Ooka River.
The atrium on the first floor has a large monitor and stage, where various events are held, and can be used as a place to relax.
In addition, in the citizen lounge on the third floor, you can see the view of Minato Mirai, including landmark towers and ferris wheels, and in the flowerbed around the building, the seasonal flowers are colorful and we look forward to your arrival .

In addition to a food hall centered on stores that originated in Yokohama, multiple restaurants, book & cafes and shops that mainly deal with souvenirs from Yokohama, tenants with high convenience and practicality such as cafes, drug stores, and convenience store stores are also open. (Grand Open on August 5, 2020)
At the terrace seat along the Ooka River, you can enjoy a meal while watching the view of Minato Mirai, in addition to the waterside scenery and seasonal flowers.

Atrium (1st floor)
Directly connected to Minato Mirai Line Bashamichi Station, it is an open space with three-story atrium, making it a space where everyone can easily gather, get close to and relax.
It can also be used as a place for various events and ceremonies.

It is a flower bed that combines the city's flower roses and familiar flowers, and is designed so that it can be applied to your home garden or veranda.

We introduce Yokohama's attractions and measures to visitors and citizens who visited guests from other cities and overseas.

Citizen lounge (3rd floor)
A part of the Ooka River, which can be accessed from the lobby on the 3rd floor, you can just enjoy the view of Minato Mirai 21 district slowly.
It can also be used as a place to meet and relax.
Oh Available time: Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 20:00, weekends and holidays from 10:00 to 20:00
Oh Major facilities: 2 benches, 4 table seats, 2 counter seats
※The furniture and waist walls are made of cypress from a water source forest in Yokohama City in Michishi Village, Yamanashi Prefecture.
Exhibition of seasonal flowers (1st floor entrance)
Schools belonging to the Yokohama Flower Festival Association color the entrance gorgeously every week.

Remains Exhibition
With the construction of the city hall, many archeological sites were excavated, such as masonry revetments at the end of the Edo period and the foundations of buildings that collapsed in the Great Kanto Earthquake.
Some of these are on display at various locations on the site.
Ookagawa masonry seawall
The masonry revetment of the Ookagawa River, which was constructed around Bunkyu 2 (1862), shortly after the opening of the port, was constructed around 1862.
Bank of Yokohama Meeting House Building Foundation
Building foundation of the Bank of Yokohama Meeting House (currently the Bank of Yokohama Association) built in 1905 in 1905

The foundation of a three-story brick warehouse built in the middle of the Meiji era
Seismic isolation device (between the 2nd and 3rd floors)
Seismic isolation devices are installed between the second and third floors of the city hall to reduce the shaking of the upper part of the seismic isolation layer, and to absorb earthquake energy using the vibration control device to prevent damage such as falling furniture in the office. And ensure business continuity.
If you go up the stairs in front of the Yokohama Building Information Center on the 2nd floor, you can see the inside of the seismic isolation layer from the observation window of the landing (Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 20:00, weekends and holidays from 10:00 to 20:00).
