The environment surrounding the management of municipal transportation continues to be extremely severe, with a decline in the working-age population, aging facilities and equipment, rising labor costs and prices, and a serious shortage of human resources, including bus crew members. . Under these circumstances, the mission of public transportation is to provide a stable and reliable transportation service and continue to support the lives of citizens.
In fiscal 2025, we will promote initiatives based on the five pillars stipulated in the Medium-Term Management Plan: "Ensuring safety," "Protecting citizens' feet," "Responsibilities of public transportation," "Strengthening financial base," and "Promotion of human resource development." We will provide safe and reliable transportation services.
All employees work together to maximize corporate efforts, such as combining the wisdom and ingenuity of all workplaces, including the workplace, break away from previous ideas, and thoroughly improve all work efficiency and optimize expenses. I will work on it.
The budget for both businesses is as follows: operating income in the automobile business was 3,755,630,000 yen, ordinary income was 3,312,220,000 yen, and operating income in the high-speed railway business was 1,251,710,000 yen, and ordinary income was 1,317,480,000 yen.
