01 About current operations
Masaji elementary school student provides psychological diagnosis and support for social nursing cases. Through various psychological tests, interviews, and observations, we understand children's characteristics and thoughts, and strive to evaluate and adjust family relationships in cooperation with other occupations and other organizations. In order to provide accurate support, we are conscious of snuggling up with the counselor while having senior staff provide guidance.
02 What I learned after joining the agency
I am learning step by step about psychological examinations and interview methods, making findings, etc., which are the basis of my work in charge. In particular, by jurying at the inspection and interview scenes of senior staff and having senior staff present, we practice interview attitudes. In addition, through the newly appointed psychologist general training, we acquire basic philosophy and business grounds, practical knowledge, attitude as city staff.
03 Experience of Living in Work
The specialized basic knowledge of psychology learned at universities and graduate schools are the foundations for working. In addition, experience of interacting with related organizations and children through practical training and part-time jobs may be a hint for doing your current job. Each of the learning and experience before joining the agency lives in my current job, and I realize the depth of psychological support and interpersonal assistance.

01 About current operations
In cooperation with elementary and junior high school counselors and the Children and Families Support Division of each ward office, we provide consultation support for elementary and junior high school students, including truancy, friendship, personality behavior, and family relationships. Mainly, we examine support organizations during intakes and consult with counselors.
02 What I value
I always try to make use of my imagination, such as what the counselor thinks and feels, and what kind of life they are living. In addition, we value values and cultures that have only many families. I feel rewarded when I see the relationship between parents and children and families change into good things through my involvement.
03 Memories of Newcomer days
After joining the agency, I worked with local people and staff of other occupations in a workplace where there was no same type of job. There, I had a valuable experience to learn about regional characteristics, administrative services, and the way of multi-occupational cooperation, and I think that human relationships have expanded. At first glance, I feel that an experience that looks like a detour expands my horizons, enhances my expertise, and at the same time enriches my career.

Responsible positions at Child and Youth Bureau Central children's guidance office

"As a responsible position for psychologists"

During his tenure days, he served as an assistant chief in children's guidance office and organizing the workplace of the Education Counseling organization. Taking advantage of that experience, I wanted to be involved in human resource development and management from a broader perspective, and to be involved in the succession of Yokohama City as a psychological profession, so I aimed to be a responsible position.

At present, he manages the staff so that employees can work with motivation and responsibility, and he speaks from a psychological perspective at meetings to determine the support policy of children's guidance office. In addition, together with the responsible positions of 4 children's guidance office in the city, we are also working to collaborate with other occupations, collaborate with other organizations, and create a training system for the entire psychological profession.
