This strategy was formulated based on the Yokohama Medium-Term Four-Year Plan 2014-2017, which sets out the direction for changing the future where people and investment are expected to be concentrated in Tokyo.
In addition, since the "Yokohama City Medium-Term Four-Year Plan 2018-2021" was formulated in October 2018, we plan consistency with the Yokohama City Medium-Term Four-Year Plan, and based on the latest statistical values, We revised "Yokohama-shi town, person, work wound straight broad strategic view" after making corrections.

(1)Population Vision
The population vision analyzes the current state of the population in order to formulate effective measures for the creation of towns, people, and work, and shows the future direction to be pursued in the future.・ While taking into account the “Long-Term Vision for Work Creation,” the future population is based on assumptions regarding natural changes and social changes, taking into account the future population.
(2)Comprehensive Strategy
In order to share the fundamental direction to open up the future of Yokohama, and to promote initiatives for regional revitalization in All Yokohama, we set the following basic goals from the viewpoint of towns, people and work, We included measures that make use of various charms.

In November 2014, the "City, People and Work Creation Law" was enacted in order to stop population decline and maintain a vibrant Japanese society in the future. . In Article 10 of the Act, it is stipulated that efforts shall be made to establish a comprehensive strategy for municipal towns, people and work creation.
