City, people and work creation comprehensive strategy for realizing the Yokohama Digital Garden City National Plan

We devised "town, person, work wound straight broad strategic view for realization of Yokohama-shi digital garden city national design".

（１） Population Vision
The Population Vision analyzes the current state of the population in order to formulate effective measures for the creation of towns, people and work, shows the future direction to be pursued in the future.・ While taking into account the long-term vision for long-term work creation (revised edition in 2019) ", we set assumptions about natural increase and social change and look at future population.

（２） Comprehensive Strategy
Based on the achievements we have built so far, we have compiled basic goals and medium- to long-term basic goals of about 10 years and measures that should be focused on four years of the planning period in order to further make Yokohama a leap forward for the future.

1. Town development that creates the future of all children
2. Town development where everyone can play an active part in a lively life
3. Realization of Zero Carbon Yokohama
4. Economic growth that opens up the future and realization of an international city, Yokohama
5. Town development in suburban areas that continue to create new value
6. Town development in the city center and coastal areas that create growth and vitality
7. Realization of Garden City Yokohama, which is full of charm of flowers, greenery, agriculture and water
8. Creating a safe and secure city that is resistant to disasters
9. Creating a city that supports citizens' lives and economic activities

※Formulation of a comprehensive strategy
In November 2014, the "City, People and Work Creation Law" was enacted to stop population decline and maintain a vibrant Japanese society in the future. In Article 10 of the Act, it is stipulated that efforts should be made to establish a municipal town, people, and work creation comprehensive strategy.
