Overview of "Yokohama International Peace Lecture-What each of us can do for peace-"
Based on the "Yokohama City Ordinance on Promotion of International Peace", Yokohama City promotes initiatives that contribute to international peace, such as international exchange, international cooperation, and multicultural coexistence, and creates opportunities to think about peace with citizens.
This year, under the theme of "Thinking and acting on what we can do for peace," lectures will be held in open classes, and workshops and panel exhibitions for elementary school students will be held. did.
For a peaceful future, each of us needs not only to enjoy peace, but also to think and act. What can we do now for peace? Why don't you watch the video of the lecture and think about it?

Representative of Forum 2050 (outside site). Experts in international cooperation, international development and global agenda. Professor at Meiji University and former Senior Advisor of JICA.
He has been engaged in international cooperation for 37 years at JICA and has served as Deputy Director of the U.S. Office, Head of Peacebuilding Support Office, Head of Human Security Group, Head of the Bangladesh Office, Head of Human Development, Senior Deliberation, and Special Assistant to the President.
Through the activities that have been involved in development around the world at JICA, we launched Forum 2050 to foster the imagination of children around the world to face the future.

Mr. Toda gave a lecture to junior high school students in Yokohama based on his own experience on what Japanese people have been working on in places such as conflicts around the world.
After receiving lectures, discussions and presentations were held in an open class format on the theme of "What can we do for future peace?"
The audience will take a look at the class.
There is also a story of Marie Louise, who experienced the massacre in Rwanda's civil war.

Experience the "heart picnic*1" where you feel the beating as a vibration on your hand, confirm each other's existence, and intuitively touch and interact with each other regardless of values and beliefs. Using "My Wellbeing Card*2" developed by NTT, we will present and present what we need to achieve peace and what we can do for each group.
