The Role of Civil Society in the International Peace Lecture “Realization of a World without Nuclear Weapons”

Yokohama City has been promoting initiatives for world peace and prosperity through intercity cooperation and international cooperation. As a member of the Conference of Mayors for Peace held in Nagasaki last August as a member of the Conference and confirmed cooperation with Hiroshima and Nagasaki toward the abolition of nuclear weapons. With this opportunity, Yasuyoshi Komizo, President of the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation and Secretary-General of the Mayors for Peace, will be invited to Yokohama to hold this lecture.
