The Role of Civil Society for the Realization of a World without Nuclear Weapons

Last Updated March 12, 2020

Outline of the event [finished]

Yokohama City has been promoting initiatives for world peace and prosperity through intercity cooperation and international cooperation. Mayors for Peace participated in the General Assembly of Mayors for Peace held in Nagasaki last August as a member of the Conference, and confirmed cooperation with Hiroshima and Nagasaki for the abolition of nuclear weapons. Yasuyoshi Komizo, President of the Hiroshima Peace Culture Center and Secretary-General of the Mayors for Peace, will be invited to Yokohama to hold this lecture.
On the day of the event, an international peace panel exhibition will be held at the same time. Check it out! Why don't you think together about the importance of peace and what we can do to realize a peaceful world?
