The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has designated June as “Town Development Month” every year since 1983, and commends individuals or groups who have achieved achievements in attractive town development.
This time, at the 2024 Town Development Award (Merit Service Section), 14 organizations were commended nationwide, and in Yokohama City, the "Miharu no Oka Town Development Council" was awarded.
