We will achieve virtually zero CO2 emissions from electricity and thermal energy consumption at municipal facilities in areas ahead of decarbonization.

The Minato Mirai 21 District, which has been selected as one of Japan's Ministry of the Environment's leading decarbonization areas, aims to achieve virtually zero CO2 emissions associated with electricity consumption by fiscal 2030. To take the initiative in this goal, at the Minato Mirai 21 Clean Center located in the Minato Mirai 21 district, we will achieve virtually zero CO2 emissions from power consumption by utilizing the environmental value generated by the Yokohama City Incineration Plant from fiscal 2024.
In addition, we will introduce a carbon offset of heat energy for air conditioning supplied by Minato Mirai 21 Heat Supply Co., Ltd., to achieve virtually zero CO2 emissions from thermal energy consumption.
