Disaster recovery in the Network System for Basic Resident Registers

On Wednesday, September 1, 2021 we established a communication server (CS) of the Network System for Basic Resident Registers (the Network System for Basic Resident Registers) in Yokohama. ※Due to a disability, some procedures were not possible at each ward office Family Registry Division all day on September 1 (Wednesday), but today all operations are now possible as usual.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to citizens.
※Communication Server (CS): Servers used when coordinating information with the Local Government Information System Organization (J-LIS) and local governments nationwide, such as the Network System for Basic Resident Registers and My Number Card-related affairs.
