Japan's first demonstration experiment of the "medicine sheet recycling program" will start in a part of Naka-ku, Yokohama!

　Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) and Terra Cycle Japan LLC (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will collaborate to collect and recycle used PTP sheets (hereinafter referred to as "medicine sheets") in a part of Naka Ward, Yokohama City.
　The collected smelt sheets are separated from plastic and aluminum, then recycled, and reborn as new products.
　This project is an advanced initiative of businesses that can be expected to raise the interest of citizens and other businesses in plastic issues based on the "Law Concerning the Promotion of Resource Recycling Related to Plastics".
　Yokohama City will also cooperate with the selection of collection bases and publicity enlightenment, etc., and will work on participation cooperation.
