Umikon 2022 "Sea and Industry Innovation Convention" Pre-registration starts!

　In Yokohama City, under the slogan “Ocean Hub Yokohama,” we are working to revitalize cities and create appeal. The ocean still has many possibilities, including renewable energy such as the development of submarine resources near Japan and offshore wind power generation, and various research and technological developments are being carried out.
　We are pleased to announce that the Ocean and Industry Innovation Convention (Umicon 2022) -Challenge to Green Growth Strategy in the Ocean Field - will be held online on Thursday, January 20, 2022 with the aim of promoting industrial development and creating businesses in the ocean field.
　Under the theme of "Challenge to Green Growth Strategies in the Marine Sector," we aim to create new business opportunities through symposiums and introduction of cutting-edge research results and technologies from companies. In addition, as a side event, a public presentation of the "Student Marine Business Idea Contest", which will be the first initiative in cooperation with Kobe City, Shizuoka City and Yokohama City, will be held.
