On March 16, 2022, Kanagawa Prefecture published the "Kanagawa Prefectural Government's View on the Special Self-Government City Initiative."
In response, the three mayors of Yokohama City, Kawasaki City and Sagamihara City, which are designated cities in the prefecture, will issue an emergency statement.
