 In Yokohama City, under the slogan “Ocean Hub Yokohama,” we are working to revitalize cities and create appeal.
 This time, together with Kobe City and Shizuoka City, which are also promoting initiatives for the promotion of the marine industry, this program was aimed at students.
"Student Marine Business Idea Contest" was held.  
 Set in the seas of the three cities, initiatives that are expected to solve the issues of each sea and lead to business development.
As a result of soliciting ideas, a total of 12 projects were conducted from university students and high school students nationwide on themes common to the three cities, and a total of 9 projects were conducted on free themes.
A total of 21 applications were received.
 For the 21 ideas submitted, a primary screening (document screening) and a final screening (public presentation online) were conducted, and one set of the highest award and three sets of the excellence award were determined.
 The final screening can be viewed in the archive, so please register from the Umikon 2022 website (https://www.umi-con.com/ (outside site)) and take a look.
 In addition, the winners will be presented at the Shizuoka Ocean Industry Symposium 2022, which will be held in March.
