Eliza R. Sidmore, an American travelogue who created the opportunity for Japan-US cherry blossom exchange. A foreign country where she sleeps
Cherry blossoms that returned home from the United States in 1991 were planted in front of the grave of the human cemetery, and this year has been 33 years.
In this anniversary year, the Sidmore Cherry Blossom Society Yokohama donated seedlings to Naka Ward.
I did it.
On March 21, the Sidmore Cherry Blossom Society Yokohama, Naka Director General and Naka Public Works Office Naga sent the seedlings to Yokohama.
We planted trees in front of Kaiko Hiroba, which leads to Osanbashi, the gateway to the city.
It is popular as the center of sightseeing in Yokohama, and the seedlings planted this time will be flowers at the earliest three years later.
It makes it bloom. I will watch carefully until that day and continue to take care of it for a long time thereafter.
