One of the three major traditional festivals in China, "Dango-bushi" (June 14, 2021) on May 5, Lunar calendar, is the origin of Japan's "Dango-no-bushi", and it is customary for people to eat chimney and pray for no illness.
In connection with the Dango Festival, the students who spent Children's Day under the influence of COVID-19 were given a gift from the Yokohama-Chinatown Development Association Cooperative Association to Naka Ward for 6th grade students in Naka Ward toYokohama-Chinatown.
Through seasonal rice paddies, students learn about traditional Chinese culture and the history of Yokohama-Chinatown, and learn about the multicultural coexistence that Yokohama-Chinatown has nurtured.
