One of the three major traditional festivals in China, "Dango Festival" (June 14, 2021) on May 5 of the lunar calendar, is the origin of the "Dango Festival" in Japan, and it is customary for people to eat china and pray for no illness.
In honor of the students who spent the Children's Day under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Yokohama-Chinatown Development Association Co-op presented Naka Ward vouchers for 6th graders in Naka Ward to eat Yokohama-Chinatown's chimney.
This event will be used as an opportunity to learn about the traditional Chinese culture and the history of Yokohama-Chinatown and learn about the multicultural coexistence that Yokohama-Chinatown has nurtured.
