In response to the report of the Yokohama City Cultural Property Protection Council (Chairman Tsutomu Yamamoto), it was decided to designate "Wooden Shaka Nyorai and Right Waki Samurai Statue" and two other cases as Yokohama City Designated Cultural Properties. With this designation, there will be 177 Yokohama-designated cultural properties.
In the future, as a related event, we will hold the "2024 Yokohama City Designated and Registered Cultural Properties Exhibition" at the Yokohama City History Museum from Saturday, February 8, 2025 to Sunday, March 16.
