In City of Yokohama, Transportation Bureau, Shin-Yokohama Station (tentative name) is built on the new Sotetsu-Tokyu Line (tentative name), while supporting the Yokohama Municipal Subway Blue Line Shin-Yokohama Station, which had been buried underground, with temporary piles (underpinning) to support Shin-Yokohama Station, which has been buried underground.
Even during construction, the train was operated safely as usual, and the construction was carried out without affecting customers.
Overcoming this difficult construction with advanced technology, we received the most prestigious Civil Engineering Society Award in Japan.
