In Yokohama City, with the aim of accepting foreign human resources and promoting multicultural coexistence, citizen groups and NPOs will promote mutual understanding between Japanese and foreigners, support the lives of foreign residents, and promote local Japanese education. Subsidies are issued and supported for activities related to promotion and promotion of active participation of foreign residents (Yokohama City Multicultural Symbiosis Citizens' Activities Support Project).
This time, there were five applications as eligible projects, and as a result of the examination, we decided to support all projects (total of 2,466,930 yen). Through the business of each organization, we aim to realize a multicultural society rich in diversity and inclusiveness.
