After a basic agreement between The Mayor of Yokohama Hayashi and Governor Kuroiwa at the "Yokohama Kanagawa Prefectural Coordination Conference" (*) in 2017, the prefecture's "Ordinance on Special Administrative Processing" was revised in March 2019. It was decided that passport issuance work would be transferred from the prefecture to the city.
We will inform you that the Yokohama City Passport Center will be opened.
