Tools to fulfill childcare workers' "I want to be like this!" The career ladder was revised through the first joint research with Showa Women's University.

　City of Yokohama, Child and Youth Bureau revised the Career Ladder (Yokohama Model 2024) as the first joint research with Showa Women's University, which signed a partnership agreement in 2020.
　Yokohama City has created career ladders for nursery teachers and used them to develop human resources for staff, but the diversification of childcare needs, the need for specialized knowledge and skills associated with them, and the need to improve their expertise and skills, as well as raising the retirement age.
　The revised "Nursery Career Lader" will be used as a management tool for childcare workers working in Yokohama to understand the possibilities of their careers and proactively enhance their childcare expertise. We will develop human resources who can draw a figure and work on career development toward that goal.
