In order to encourage the Yokohama City Athletes participating in the Special National Sports Festival for Persons with Disabilities, a unity ceremony will be held at Yokohama Rapport, a sports culture center for the disabled.
The National Sports Festival for Persons with Disabilities is held after the National Athletic Meet, hosted by the Japan Para Sports Association, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the host prefecture, etc. It is the largest festival of sports for the disabled.
This year's special tournament will be held in Kagoshima Prefecture from October 28 (Sat.) to 30, 2013 in (Mon). A total of 93 athletes, including 56 athletes and 37 officers, will be dispatched from Yokohama City.
