The Movement to Brighten Society is a nationwide movement to help all citizens deepen their understanding of the prevention of crime and delinquency and the rehabilitation of those who committed crime and delinquency, work together in their respective positions to build a safe and secure community free of crime and delinquency. This is a campaign led by the Ministry of Justice, and will reach its 73rd time in 2023.
July is the emphasis month of the movement, and after the symbol "Yellow Feather", the Yokohama City Hall will be lit up in yellow, and it will be an opportunity for citizens to think about rehabilitation.
