The Yokohama City Hall will be lit up during the July “Exercise to Brighten Society” emphasis month!

The “Activity to Brighten Society” is a nationwide movement for all citizens to deepen their understanding of the prevention of crime and delinquency and the rehabilitation of those who committed crimes and delinquencies, work together in their respective positions, and to build a safe and secure community without crime and delinquency. This is a campaign led by the Ministry of Justice, and will mark its 73rd anniversary in 2023.
July is the emphasis month of the movement, and the Yokohama City Hall will be lit up in yellow after the symbol mark, "Yellow Feathers", which is a chance for citizens to think about rehabilitation.
