In Yokohama City, we are promoting initiatives to collect phosphorus from sewage sludge and utilize it as fertilizer.
The registration of fertilizers for recycled phosphorus collected from phosphorus collection facilities in Hokubu Sludge Treatment Plant has been completed, and the production of fertilizers containing recycled phosphorus has been started. [Reference 1]
The manufactured fertilizer will be subject to test fertilization [Note 2] at a field [Note 1] or park in the city to confirm its effects.
