In conjunction with the holding of the international art fair "Tokyo Gendai", a special exhibition will be held by contemporary artist Yusuke Asai (new collection in Yokohama-bijutsukan 2023).

Along with last year's international art fair "Tokyo Gendai" to be held in Pacifico-yokohama, Yokohama City and Yokohama-bijutsukan will hold a special exhibition (free viewing) of a new work by contemporary artist Yusuke Asai.
This work was newly added to the Yokohama-bijutsukan Collection by commissioning Yusuke Asai to the Yokohama Cultural Fund as a project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its founding by Yokohama Shinkin Bank as a project to commemorate the 100th anniversary of its founding. Please take a look at this work, which mainly uses soil from Yokohama City as an art material and created interaction with many people and places.
