For MICE human resource development, a planning program for international conferences by students will be launched!

　Yokohama City will launch the YOKOHAMA MICE Challenge, a program that solves problems related to MICE in collaboration with students, from the perspective of initiatives to foster the next generation and revitalize the MICE industry. This project is a co-creation program that solves MICE issues in Yokohama City based on proposals and practices by students in the city.
　In fiscal 2024, students participating as part of internship training at the Yokohama City University Tourism Management Laboratory (Takayuki Arima Seminar), students participating as part of internship training at the university will be given credits for university classes .
　As a place for the first practice of the program, we will provide tourist information at the MSEAS International Conference and promote Yokohama's appeal. As a place for the second practice, we plan and operate an excursion at the International Youth Conference on Biodiversity to be held in August.
