February extra edition Yokohama Spring Festival 2024 Pokemon is coming to Yokohama!

　In this spring festival, Pokemon and Yokohama-Chinatown collaborated.
　Invited by the lively festival of Spring Festival, Pikachu comes to celebrate. Also, since this year is the Year of the Dragon, you can also enjoy the Lek Uza motif Ryumai in Yokohama-Chinatown. Let's celebrate the Spring Festival with Pokemon in Yokohama.

　Feb. 12 (Mon./holiday) Under the clear blue weather that feels spring, Pikachu, dressed in special costumes at Yamashita Park Festival Square, came here.

　On the day, it was full of many customers wearing a specially designed Pikachu sun visor distributed at the venue. The very popular Pikachu provided a charming fan service, such as high touches and cute poses.

　And with the sound of a loud gong, the dragon dance with the Lek Uza motif appears dashingly! With a large figure of 10m in length and a quick response, the excitement of the venue is at its climax.

　After the dragon dance was over, the two loudly shouted, "It was a wonderful performance!" "Lecuza, it was so cool! Pikachu was so cute!"

　Pokemon Co., Ltd. and Yokohama City have collaborated on the “Pikachu Mass Outbreak Chu” held from 2014 to 2019, and the “Pokemon World Championship 2023” last summer to improve brand power and promote tourism MICE. Based on the "Agreement on the Promotion of Tourism MICE", Yokohama Minato Mirai Event, etc., and collaborated to create a big lively town in Yokohama. And this initiative led to this Spring Festival collaboration project.
　In addition, Yokohama City has published the “Yokohama Pokemon Spot Sightseeing Map” Spring Festival Edition to further enhance the Yokohama Spring Festival. It is distributed at the following event venues, etc., so why not visit the Pokemon spots in Yokohama along with the Spring Festival?

・Feb. 23 (Fri./holiday) Appeared in Yokohama-Chinatown's traditional parade "Celebration Dance"
　※Pikachu appears in part of the parade. The route will be from Yamashita-Cho Koen <Yokohama-Chinatown> to Kanteibyo Dori.

　In Yamashita Park, Chinese lion dance was also performed. The blue and red lions slowly go around the audience, and attach the celebration bag "Honpoo" and bite the head. 　Pokemon Co., Ltd. teamed up with Chinese anime studio Haruka Kanki (HMCH), who worked on "Luo Oguro Senki", etc., to create a special animation on the theme of "Spring Festival".
　People who lived away from their hometown return to their hometown with Pokemon, reuniting with their families, reuniting with friends, and preparing for the festival, etc. Take a look at Pokemon and people's stories depicted with a soft and warm touch, which is also a feature of Haruka Kanki (HMCH) studio. At the end, that legendary Pokemon might also appear!
