I would like to convey opinions, requests, and suggestions to 1 Yokohama City, what should I do?
A

In 1 Yokohama-shi, we carry out business such as "suggestion from citizen" "mayor petition" to hear "voice" of citizen's everybody. Please use it.

2: I can't go to the time when the government office is open to convey opinions, requests, and suggestions. Can't you tell me my voice?

2 In "Proposals from citizens", we accept 24 hours a day by posting form and e-mail on the homepage. Also, posts by fax are available 24 hours a day.

3 How are "suggestions from citizens" and "mayor petition" different each?
A

3 "suggestion from citizen" is business to have you give opinion or request for municipal administration from individual casually. Opinions and requests are accepted by mail, fax, the Internet, and e-mail. Please send your frank "voice" to the ward office of your ward.

"Mayor petition" is opinion or request submitted in writing to the mayor from group where representative name is clearly specified. Answers are sent in writing in the mayor's name.

In addition, "mayor petition" is targeted for disclosure request as administrative document. Therefore, in principle, the name of the organization and the name of the representative will be disclosed. However, personal information contained in the text of the document or other signature book will not be disclosed.

4 How does citizen's "voice" arrive?
A

4 "voice" of everybody who had you approach confirms department that Ward Administration Promotion Division of ward office and citizen's bureau public hearing consultation section are in charge of and tell about contents of "voice". The department in charge responds responsibly to the "voices" received, accumulates it in a cumulative manner, and uses it as valuable data for examining the city's business and measures.

As we cannot reply in Yokohama-shi about "voice" about matter which Yokohama-shi does not have jurisdiction, we tell other organizations after considering personal information protection.

In addition, please understand that the department in charge may contact you to confirm detailed facts while responding to the "voice" from you.

A

5 "suggestions from citizens" and "mayor petition" are all in a database, and the mayor can always view them from a personal computer. In addition, the department in charge responds responsibly to individual opinions and requests received.

6 In "suggestions from citizens", do only "suggestions"?
A

6 In addition to "proposals", we accept opinions, requests, complaints, etc.

7 Why do I have to write my age and occupation when conveying opinions and requests in "sugges from citizens"?
A

7 Opinions and requests from everyone are accumulated in a database and are used as valuable data for city projects and measures. When investigating and analyzing data, the more accurate analysis can be done, the more accurate analysis can be done. If you don't mind, please let me know.

8 The ward office Ward Administration Promotion Division and the Civil Affairs Bureau Public Affairs Consultation Section are not departments that listen to your "voices". We listen to opinion and request for municipal administration in any department of city hall.
