2018 Child Adventure 2018 Implementation Report

First of all,

On Thursday, August 16, 2018, Friday, 17th, we carried out child adventure "IoT manufacturing experience" in Yokohama-shi industrial technology support center. The capacity was 32 people, but we received a large number of applications of 154 people, and this year we decided to draw. I'm very sorry to all those who couldn't participate.

What is the IoT Manufacturing Experience?

The purpose of this program is to have children experience the hot topic of IoT.
Participants had the experience of assembling an image analysis machine using AI using a small personal computer "Raspberry Pi". Samples modeled with our 3D printer were photographed with the camera of an image analysis machine, and an experience was given to the AI answer.

State of the day

Participants experienced the "small personal computers", "electronic work", "programming", and "AI" required for IoT. I was able to learn about electronic components such as "resistors" and "ultrasonic sensors" used in electronic work.
