Support for Tokyo Tech Yokohama Venture Plaza

Yokohama City provides consultation support for residents of Tokyo Tech's Yokohama Venture Plaza to provide some subsidies for rent and issues when creating new businesses through industry-academia-government collaboration.

This subsidy aims to create new businesses through industry-academia-government collaboration and promote industry in Motoichi, with the aim of commercializing the results of research and development with the aim of creating new businesses through industry-academia-government collaboration and promoting the industry in Motoichi. ) To subsidize a part of the rent for residents.
In addition, for company pushing forward business development in the city after leaving YVP, we assist a part of expenses pertaining to relocation.

1 move-in support subsidy

Subsidized persons

・Residents of YVP since April 1, 2021

Amount of subsidized expenses and subsidies

Rent paid by YVP residents to the Small and Medium Enterprise Infrastructure Development Organization (Amount specified in Appendix 1 (PDF: 205KB)).
Up to 1,000,000 yen per person.
However, if there is a subsidy target month less than January, the amount of the subsidy for that month shall be based on the prorated calculation (if there is a fraction less than 10 yen, the fractional amount shall be rounded down).
※Rent subsidies according to Appendix 1 shall be provided within the budget for the relevant fiscal year.

Subsidized period

For one year from the month following the move-in date (or the current month if the move-in date is the first day of the month).

Documents to be submitted

Please apply for April to March of the relevant year by the end of March.
※Documents that have already been submitted within the same year do not need to be submitted again.

2 Growth support subsidies

Target person

Person who can receive grant shall be person corresponding to all of the following.
(1) Those who moved into YVP on or after April 1, 2021 and moved out after that date
(2) After leaving the YVP, set up a head office or office in Yokohama City and intends to continue doing business in Yokohama City
(3) Person who received grant of move-in support subsidy

Amount of subsidized expenses and subsidies

 ・Other expenses deemed necessary

  Up to the same amount as the subsidy for moving-in support
  ※Subsidies will be provided within the budget.
