What is the "Company Management Experience Program"?
This is an entrepreneurship program for municipal elementary schools, junior high schools, and special needs schools in cooperation with the Yokohama City Economic Affairs Bureau and the Yokohama City Board of Education.
The aim is to foster children's ability to open up the future with confidence in themselves through "fostering entrepreneurial mind" while creating a company with six people and experiencing everything from entrepreneurship to financial results. .
We aim to create a system that allows schools and teachers to continuously implement entrepreneurship education.
Schedule
1.Recruitment and adoption of participating schools
Economic Affairs Bureau, Yokohama City offers a corporate management experience program for Municipal Elementary Schools, junior high schools, compulsory education schools, and special needs schools.
We are recruiting for participation in the 2024 program.
2.Meetings with teachers at each school
From late June to the end of July, we will meet with the teachers of each school about the program theme, the wishes of entrepreneurs who will be invited to entrepreneur lectures, and those who will be subject to market research.
The schedule is determined according to the program content of each school, and together with the teachers, we will create a teaching plan tailored to the theme of each school.
3.Implementation of programs at each school
Each school uses a 15-hour program, utilizing the time of comprehensive study.
As a kick-off, an entrepreneur lecture will be held. After that, six people form a company, conduct market research, make a business plan, request a loan, purchase materials, and make products. We sell advertisements, calculate the income and expenditure, repay the loan, and finally reflect on the activities and share learning.
Listening to entrepreneurial lectures
Work while checking the information obtained from market research
Each company is preparing a business plan
A loan consultation with a real financial institution
After consulting on the loan, the business plan is being reworked.
Results Presentation
We will provide presentation opportunities to elementary school student students who participated in the program, experience expressing their thoughts, and hold results presentations aimed at sharing the results of their learning and deepening their learning.
The national team of the implementing school announces their efforts and commenting on the Japan Finance Corporation, etc., who cooperated with the program, so that the event will be able to get tips for the next.
