What is the "Company Management Experience Program"?
In cooperation with the Yokohama City Economic Affairs Bureau and the Yokohama City Board of Education, this program is an entrepreneurship program aimed at municipal elementary schools, junior high schools, and special needs schools by utilizing time for comprehensive study.
The aim is to foster the ability of children to open up the future with confidence through "fostering entrepreneurial mind" while creating one company with six people and experiencing everything from entrepreneurship to settlement of accounts. .
We aim to create a system in which entrepreneurship education can be continuously implemented by schools and teachers.
Schedule
1.Recruitment and adoption of participating schools
In Economic Affairs Bureau, Yokohama City, we offer a corporate management experience program for Municipal Elementary Schools, junior high schools, compulsory education schools, and special needs schools to raise awareness of social issues and business from an early stage.
We will start accepting applications for participation in the program in 2024.
2.Meetings with teachers at each school
From late June to the end of July, we will hold a meeting with the teachers of each school about the theme of the program, the wishes of entrepreneurs to be invited to entrepreneur lectures, and the target audience for market research.
We will decide the schedule according to the content of each school's program, and work with the teachers to create a teaching plan tailored to the theme of each school.
3.Implementation of programs at each school
Each school will implement a program of about 15 hours, utilizing the time of comprehensive study.
As a kick-off, an entrepreneurial lecture will be held. After that, six people create one company, conduct market research, make a business plan, request loans, purchase materials, and make products. We sell advertisements, calculate income and expenditures, make settlements, repay loans, and finally all reflect on our activities and share learning.
