Safety net housing with rent subsidies
Among the houses registered as safety net houses, we provide rent and rent debt guarantee fees for houses that meet certain requirements.

Major requirements for housing
- Being a house in Yokohama city
- The amount of rent must be below a level that does not lose balance with the rent of similar housing in the vicinity
- security deposit must be less than three months' rent, and key money renewal fee must be less than one month's rent.
- Registered as a safety net house (dedicated house), etc.
Main requirements for residents
- Household income ※1 must be less than 158,000 yen (214,000 yen * 2)
- Do not receive housing assistance (welfare protection system) or housing security benefits (living independence support system)
- Being resident or working in the city
※Monthly income of one household = (total of total income of all residents-total deductions specified in the Public Housing Law Enforcement Order) / 12
※2 1 child-raising households (children (those who are up to the first March 31 after reaching the age of 18) or households with pregnant persons) or 2 newlywed households (spouse (including actual marriage, etc.) Households within 5 years after obtaining). This is a time-limited measure (planned) until FY2028.

About rent reduction assistance
Since it is a system to provide assistance to the lessor, the lessor must perform the procedure.
In addition, subsidies are basically paid separately every quarter.
In addition, "in principle, open recruitment of residents" is a requirement, but if certain requirements are met, it is also possible to receive assistance while the current resident continues to live.

Subsidy grant application
This is a procedure for making it a "safety net house with rent assistance".
Please submit the following documents to the Subsidy Secretariat.

In addition, in order to receive assistance, the resident must separately apply for “Resident Qualification Confirmation”.
Notification of moving in
Please submit the following documents to the Subsidy Secretariat as soon as the contract is concluded.
Even if a person who is not eligible for assistance moves in, it is necessary to submit it to understand the occupancy status.
If the current resident is going to receive assistance while continuing to live, it is not necessary to submit a move-in notification.

Performance report and subsidy payment
You will be asked to report the results on a quarterly basis and determine the subsidy amount.
The subsidy is paid by the city via the subsidy secretariat.

・This is necessary/required procedures if you have already received a subsidy grant decision this year and continue to receive subsidies in the following fiscal year.
