Application for temporary use due to the use of open spaces such as restaurants to respond to the effects of COVID-19 infection (this provisional measure ended on March 31, 2023)

As a provisional measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection, we have organized the handling of temporary use to avoid "3 C" conducted by restaurants and other restaurants in open spaces.
Please refer to the following information when applying for temporary use approval.

Requirements for temporary use
Purpose
As a measure to avoid "three dense" (dense, sealed, close), which is a measure against COVID-19 infection, temporary take-out sales and food and drink on the terrace.
Applicant
Councils, etc., consisting of local residents and organizations, including local governments
Urban Renewal Promotion Corporation or Regional Revitalization Promotion Corporation
Private organizations supported by local governments
Shopping Street Promotion Association, Chamber of Commerce
Open space manager or building owner
※If you are considering at an individual store, consult the open space manager or building owner, and from the open space manager or building owner.
Please apply for it.
※In addition, attachments such as statements of position about support may be necessary from town development department and group, related ward bureau having jurisdiction over area.
Scope of use
・While avoiding "three dense" should be kept to the minimum necessary range.
Example: When setting up seats, the number of seats in the indoor and outdoor combined should be less than or equal to or less than the number of seats before the countermeasures, while keeping the distance between each seat.
/ Desks and signboards for takeout should be installed in one place.
・In principle, secure a pedestrian space with a width of 2.0 m or more so as not to hinder the traffic of general pedestrians
・Do not place desks, seats, etc. in spaces that are necessary for safety, such as evacuation routes
Other requirements
・Acquisition of the open space manager
・Desks, seats, etc. can be easily removed.
Proper management can be performed properly, such as removing outside business hours and when installation is undesirable due to bad weather or congestion.
・Consult with the Health Sanitation Division to give due consideration to food hygiene.
・Coordinating with town development departments, groups, and related ward bureaus that have jurisdiction over the area.
・During the period of use, indicate the contents of use, range of use, and period at a position close to the public vacant lot display board.
・After the period of use, attach a photo showing the situation at the time of use.

(2) Guide map that shows the location of the application site
(3) Open space map, etc. (Disclosing the scope of use within the open space)
(4) Layout diagrams, etc. (those that show the details of "3 dense" measures)
(5) Materials that show the management method of the installation (management system, storage location when removal, etc.)
(6) Statements of opinion on support from local governments (if necessary)
