Purpose of the regulations about adjustment of Yokohama-shi development business

In Yokohama City, in order to promote comprehensive town development, the “Yokohama City Residential Land Development Guidelines” enacted in 1968 will respond to changes in the social situation surrounding urban maturation and development projects, Aiming to create a good urban environment through collaboration with Yokohama City, we reviewed the application targets and maintenance standards for public utility facilities stipulated in the “Yokohama City Residential Land Development Guidelines” and enacted in 2004.
However, in order to ensure thorough operation in accordance with the purpose of the ordinance based on the implementation status of the development project since the ordinance was enforced, development projects to which the ordinance is applied, procedures for development projects, and the minimum site area of buildings We revise the minimum and compliance with plans for development projects, and will take effect in July 2013.

Development projects subject to the ordinance on coordination of Yokohama-shi development projects

When we are going to perform any of the following acts in Yokohama-shi, we must receive consent of the mayor beforehand.

  • Exemption (applicable to "Standards for Development Permits Based on the City Planning Act")
    1. Development projects subject to the ordinance on permission for management of graveyards, etc.
    2. Development projects subject to the Act on Special Measures for Urban Regeneration
    3. Development activities of less than 500m2 in the urbanization control area and residential land development
    4. Development activities from Article 29, Paragraph 1, Item 4 to Item 11 of the City Planning Act, such as city planning projects
