Recognition of Energy Conservation Standards (Article 41)

• It will be certified to prove that the building currently built conforms to the Building Energy Consumption Performance Standards (Energy Conservation Standards).
• Once certified, the conformity certification mark (e mark) can be displayed.

• Authorized owners should perform appropriate maintenance so that the building continues to conform to energy saving standards.
• When you change owner, please submit owner change notice of building.

For the standard procedure, apply to Yokohama City after undergoing a technical examination on the certification criteria in advance by the "examination organization".

≪Examining body≫
・Registered Energy Conservation Judgment Organization: Registered building energy consumption performance evaluation organization prescribed in the Building Energy Conservation Law
・Registered housing performance evaluation organization: Registered house performance evaluation organization prescribed in the Act on Promotion of Housing Quality Assurance

※Regarding the entire building, among the following documents related to energy-saving performance issued by a third-party organization at the time of new construction, those that prove that they are equal to or greater than that of conforming to the "Building Energy Consumption Performance Standards" Is treated as equivalent to the one that has undergone a technical review by the examination body. However, only when the designer, etc. has confirmed that the standards still conform to the standards.

• Notice (copy) of energy-saving performance improvement plan certification
• Low-carbon building new construction plan certification letter (copy)
• Construction house performance evaluation report (copy)
• Notice of conformity (copy) for energy saving notification, etc.

• Notes on Application for Certification
  • The scope of certification is the entire building.
  • Please apply when all construction is completed.
  • The applicant will be the owner of the building.
  • If you have undergone a technical review by the examination organization in advance, the certification fee in Yokohama is free.
