Outline of the System
The Yokohama City Housing Removal Aid Project is a system in which the city assists the removal construction costs for wooden houses with insufficient earthquake resistance.

Applications for FY2024 will be accepted from April 1, 2024. Applications for 2024 are accepted until December 27, 2024.
Target (Buildings that correspond to both of the following contents)
1.Buildings that started with construction confirmation before the end of May 1981.
However, “vacant houses / Rental House” of tenement houses and apartment houses are not eligible for assistance unless they fall under 2.3.
2.Those that fall under any of the following

(Caution) In principle, all buildings subject to removal work
※Houses with a superstructure rating of 1.0 or more using the Yokohama City Wooden House Seismic Diagnosis Dispatch Business are not eligible.
※In the case of a house with multiple dwelling units (including those where a part of the building is in contact with the neighboring building).
※In the case of mixed structures (buildings that include structures other than wooden structures) or special shapes, be sure to consult before applying for assistance before applying.
※It is not possible to apply for assistance for construction work already done.
※Even if you apply special measures to control the occurrence of unoccupied houses (special deduction of 30 million yen of transfer income of unoccupied houses), you can apply for this removal assistance system.

Assistance
For retirement work costs, we will support the lowest amount of the costs in the table below.

| Amount obtained by multiplying the total area (m2) x 13,500 yen / m2 of the target building by 1/3 |

Tax-exempt households Resident tax (prefectural tax, metropolitan inhabitant tax, municipal tax and special ward tax) of all the owners of the subsidized buildings and all their household members
Households that have been exempt from tax for the past two years
Flow of main procedures
Applications for housing removal assistance projects are accepted until the end of December. (Please apply for the earthquake-resistant diagnosis of the city by the end of October.)
In addition, please be careful as you cannot start contract, construction unless you receive "subsidy grant decision letter of advice" issued by city.
Complete construction by the end of February, and please submit completion report to city.

About removal construction company
Companies that can perform retirement work must meet the following requirements.
- City businesses (businesses with headquarters in the city)
- Article 2, Paragraph 12 of the Act on Recycling and Recycling of Materials Related to Construction Work, or Article 3, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Recycling and Recycling of Materials Related to Construction Work or Article 3 (1) of the Civil Engineering Business Law Person who has obtained permission of
If the estimated amount is 1,000,000 yen or more, two or more quotes must be submitted. In addition, after receiving the "Subsidy Grant Decision Notice", it will be a contract with the company with the lower estimated amount. Please note that you cannot contract with the company with the highest estimated amount.
