For those who live in wooden houses in Yokohama City, we will support a part of the cost of installing disaster prevention beds, tables and earthquake-resistant shelters.

We have started accepting applications for subsidies for FY2024.

Purchases and installations are not eligible. Please be sure to contact us before purchasing or contracting!

1. Target housing…Housing targeted for grant of subsidy shall meet all requirements to advocate next.
   1. Construction must have been started with construction confirmation before May 31, 1981.
   2. A wooden house and the number of floors excluding the basement is 2 or less.
   3. A house where disaster prevention beds can be installed on the first floor.
   4. Being house provided for residence of person targeted for assistance.
   5. Have not received subsidies from Yokohama City for earthquake-resistant repair work.
   6. Yokohama-shi disaster prevention bed receiving grant of subsidy by setting promotion assistance business summary, setting of earthquake-resistant shelter to prescribe in setting promotion assistance business point such as Yokohama-shi disaster prevention bed is not done.
2. Target person…Individuals who have not been installed disaster prevention beds, etc. in response to the grant of subsidies according to this summary, and who have no delinquency of city tax, and who live in the above target houses themselves (excluding sole proprietors) .
   ※"Earthquake-resistant shelters" can be applied up to one per house, and "Disaster Prevention Bed Tables" can be applied up to one per person.

Limit: Disaster prevention bed / table 200,000 yen, earthquake-resistant shelter 400,000 yen
※Of the expenses required for the purchase of disaster prevention beds, etc., only the cost of the equipment itself

• Subsidy grant application (first style)
• Letter of Consent (Form 1-2)
• Copy of resident certificate (original)
• Certificate of registration of house tax register (property certificate) or real estate registration certificate of building

• Photos after installation of disaster prevention beds, etc.
• A copy of the contract
• A copy of documents proving the cost, such as invoices and receipts.

• A copy of the mailed “Notice of Confirmation of Subsidy Amount”
