Yokohama City Green Power Procurement System

In order to reduce the environmental burden associated with power generation as much as possible, Yokohama City operates the Yokohama City Green Power Procurement System, which sets environmental conditions that will lead to efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in bids for electricity supply and demand contracts.

• August 23, 2024

　　　From August 23 (Friday) to September 6, 2024, "[Form 1] Report on Environmental Consideration Evaluation Items" will be accepted.
　　　Small power sales companies wishing to receive a power supply contract ordered by the department in charge of the city facilities submit a report in the electronic application system.
　　　In addition, please use the latest style as style is changed by one partial revision of summary.

　　　We revised a part of "Yokohama City Green Power Procurement Exploratory Committee Guidelines".

In system to evaluate the situation of environmental consideration in power supply business of retail electricity company based on "environmental consideration evaluation items", companies that meet certain standards must have contract qualifications with Motoichi.

All electricity procurement (all power procurement ordered by Yokohama City Hall)

(Applicable to electricity procurement contracted on or after September 30, 2019)

Retail electric utilities with a total of 50 points or more calculated based on the "Environmental Consideration Standards"

(If the contract qualification is determined separately, such as "Yokohama City General Competitive Bidding Participation Eligibility", it shall comply with the rules.)

Businesses wishing to receive a power supply contract ordered by the Yokohama City Hall must submit a report on environmental consideration evaluation items to the Carbon Neutral Business Promotion Division of Decarbonization and GREEN × EXPO Promotion Bureau within the specified period.
After confirming contents such as reports in Yokohama-shi green power procurement Exploratory Committee, we judge evaluation point of each company and notify each company of the judgment result to each company and release on this page.

• Submission method (Flow from submission preparation to evaluation)

We submit in "Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system" (outside site).

①Perform "new registration of users" as a "business" (if you have already registered, you do not need to register again).

②"Login" to "Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System".

③Select "Procedure for Business Operators" and enter "Green Power" in "Keyword Search".

④Display and click the "Report on Environmental Consideration Evaluation Items pertaining to the Yokohama City Green Power Procurement System".

⑤Download the “[Form 1] Environmentally Consideration Items Report” in the “Application Form / Documents” and save it on your PC.

　※It is the same as the data that can be downloaded in the "Submissions" above.

⑥Enter required items in the download data to complete and save the “[Form 1] Environmentally Conscious Evaluation Items Report”.

⑦On the "Details" screen of the electronic application system "Report for Environmental Consideration Evaluation Items pertaining to the Yokohama City Green Power Procurement System" of the electronic application system, click "Proceed to Next" and move to the application screen.

⑧Select "File to be uploaded", upload "[Form 1]" created above, and click "Next" to complete the application.

⑨When the judgment of the evaluation point is completed, a "notice based on the Yokohama City Green Power Procurement Implementation Guidelines" will be sent to the e-mail address registered in the electronic application system.
