1.Areas subject to designation (city planning decision)

Greening areas are designated as residential areas for residential use.
Residential use areas are the following areas:
Class 1 Low-rise Residential Area
Type 2 Low-rise Residential Area
Class 1 Middle and High-rise Residential Area
Class 2 Middle-high-rise residential area
Class 1 Residential Area
Class 2 Residential Area
Quasi-residential area
※In May 2024, we plan to expand the designated greening area to commercial use areas.
※Please use the administrative map information provision system "i-Mappy" to check the greening area.
2.Minimum greening rate (city planning decision)
The minimum greening rate in the area is 10%.
3.Scale of site area subject to regulation of greening rate (Yokohama-shi green area regulations)
The target building site area is 500 square meters or more.

5.Measures to counter violations in greening areas
In greening areas, those who maintain conservation are obliged to maintain and maintain greening facilities with a minimum greening rate of the minimum greening rate. (Regulations on Urban Green Space Law, Yokohama City Green Area)
